David and Charlie had the ultimate DIY wedding! This was truly an event that brought together so many people with everyone having a part. Charlie's dress, the bridesmaid dresses, and sashes were all handmade by her maid of honor. They also made the paper flowers for the bouquets and the table centerpieces. Charlie purchased and arranged all the flowers, their cake was made by Charlie's father and all the bunting for the ceremony was hand sewn! Charlie also collected of the vintage postcards that were used for their guest book and their invitations were designed by a good friend. It was an amazing wedding with many heartfelt moments. Congratulations again, David and Charlie!
The love between this couple set the tone for a beautiful and heartfelt celebration. Sharon is a dear friend and she married her soul mate at an intimate gathering in Sonoma County. The entire event took place at the beautiful Jack London Lodge in Glen Ellen, California. All of the great details were created by the bride herself - including the wood burned centerpieces. The celebration lasted long into the night with heartfelt, funny and joyful toasts and lots of dancing. It was a pleasure to photograph this wedding for such an incredible couple. Congratulations again, Sharon and Mike!
Carlos and Julia met when they were kids...she needed a dance partner and he happily obliged. Their friendship slowly grew into love and the two were married at the beautiful Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano. Their wedding day was full of smiles, laughter and good times with a full mariachi band backing their first dance. It's no surprise these two have been dancing their entire lives...their first dance was amazing!
What a stunningly beautiful day in San Clemente at Casa Romantica. Vitæ Weddings was the second shooter at this wedding for our friend and incredibly talented wedding photographer, Shane Macomber. It was an intimate wedding for a gorgeous couple and we were happy to be a part of it.
Another wedding for good friends of ours! Cody and Christina were married at the Smog Shoppe, one of the most adorable wedding venues in Los Angeles. The day went by incredibly smoothly, they almost brought us to tears with their beautifully written wedding vows, and everyone was having a blast on the dance floor during the reception. It was such a great day and we were so happy to photograph it for them.
This is the kind of wedding dreams are made of. This sweetly emotional wedding was set at the super romantic Bass Lake, California. The groom even taught himself how to play the harmonica just so he could play a song for his lovely bride on their wedding day.
